SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nextrials, Inc., a leader in clinical research software and services, today announced that its collaborative work with Z-Tech (Canada) Inc. has been selected as a finalist in the 2007 Society of Clinical Data Management’s Data Driven Innovation Award competition. The companies have jointly developed an integrated methodology for directly capturing clinical trial data collected by Z-Tech’s Azura BreastScan™ breast cancer detection system and subsequently delivering that data to be stored in Nextrials’ Prism® clinical trial management platform. This integration results in a simplified data acquisition and submission experience for the clinical researcher. It avoids the potential for errors by automating both the submission of data and the addition of subjects in Prism directly from the Azura BreastScan device.
