Bender as President of their Medartis, Inc. operations headquartered in Kenett Square, Pennsylvania. Mr. Bender has over 20 years medical experience, with his expertise being in the area of trauma orthopedics. Prior to being appointed as President of Medartis Inc., Mr. Bender oversaw the Northeast Region of another trauma company leader. In 2002 Mr. Bender was awarded a U.S. patent for one of his own orthopedic devices. He has a background in medical start-up companies which will serve him well in strengthening Medartis Inc. in the U.S. market.
