SEATTLE, Wash., June 17, 2008 – LabConnect, LLC and Metropolis Health Services today announced they are entering into an agreement whereby Metropolis will join the LabConnect Network. This will further expand LabConnect’s rapid ascension within the central laboratory industry by extending LabConnect’s presence to include India and Southern Asia. The move will also greatly expand the organizations in-house capacity to perform highly esoteric assays.
LabConnect provides central and specialty laboratory services from its facilities in North America and Central and Eastern Europe and is recognized for its emerging market expertise. With the addition of Metropolis, LabConnect will now offer harmonized central laboratory services throughout the Asian subcontinent.
Metropolis, as one of the leading laboratory organizations in Asia, has provided analytical support to the biopharmaceutical industry for more than ten years. Metropolis is recognized throughout the region for its broad analytical capabilities and strong customer service orientation.
