On a tour of the Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre in Vancouver, Dr. Richard Moore shows the Honourable Steven Fletcher, Minister of State (Democratic Reform) how a “next generation” sequencing system, supported by Genome Canada and Genome BC enables the rapid and complete sequencing of a human genome - technology being used today to improve patient therapies and enhancing patient outcomes.
Minister Fletcher toured the facility on July 20 accompanied by researchers from Genome BC’s Microarray Facility and Technology Development.
