France Agency Recalls Two Lots Of Sanofi-Aventis (France) Anti Blood-Clotting Drug Plavix

PARIS (AP) -- France’s pharmaceutical regulatory agency said Thursday that it is recalling two lots of Sanofi-Aventis’ anti blood-clotting drug Plavix in France as a precaution. The decision came after officials in Britain discovered counterfeit Plavix in Britain bearing the same lot numbers, 3051 and 3091, France’s Afssaps agency said.
