BETHLEHEM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Furthering its commitment to provide a safe, innovative and efficient way to deliver medication, B. Braun Medical Inc. and Novation announce they are expanding their pharmacy contract. Beginning October 1st 2007, hospitals purchasing through Novation will have access to B. Braun’s full line of pharmacy admixture component products. This three-year agreement is in addition to a contract awarded in 2003 for B. Braun’s DUPLEX® Drug Delivery System, which features a unique closed-system design to reduce the risk of medication errors and eliminate the pharmacy labor component of IV antibiotic delivery.
