WASHINGTON -Government regulators sent a warning letter Wednesday to a small Tennessee company that claims its tanning product can prevent skin cancer.The Food and Drug Administration said that Melanocorp Inc. makes false and misleading claims for Melanotan, an injectable liquid designed to produce a “sunless tan,” according to the company’s Web site.
