PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 7, 2013 –– ERT, a leading global solution provider for high-quality patient safety and efficacy endpoint data collection, today announced an expansion of its executive management team. In response to the Company’s growth and to meet the needs of ERT’s biopharmaceutical and healthcare customers, it has appointed James (Jim) Corrigan as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
As COO, Jim will be responsible for overseeing, developing and setting the strategic direction for the day-to-day operations of ERT, including Services, Product Management, Information Technology, Account Management, Marketing, Quality, and Research & Development (R&D) to deliver accurate, cost-effective and convenient support systems for the collection of timely, regulatory-compliant patient endpoint data.
Jim joins ERT from General Electric (GE) where he spent more than 25 years in senior management roles leading broad functional teams to significant growth. His knowledge of life sciences and the healthcare industry stems from his experience with GE Healthcare, where he most recently held the position of Chief Executive Officer of their Surgery business.
