MIDLAND, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stockholders of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) today elected Ajay Banga, Jacqueline K. Barton, James A. Bell, Richard Davis, Jeff M. Fettig, Mark Loughridge, Andrew N. Liveris, Raymond J. Milchovich, Robert S. (Steve) Miller, Paul Polman, Dennis H. Reilley, James M. Ringler and Ruth G. Shaw to the Company’s Board of Directors for one-year terms during the Company’s 118th Annual Meeting.

Stockholders also ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company’s independent auditor for 2015.
In other business, preliminary voting results indicate that stockholders have approved an advisory vote on executive compensation and a stockholder-sponsored proposal regarding limiting accelerated executive pay has been defeated.
The final voting results on all agenda items will be available in a Form 8-K to be filed by the Company and at www.dowgovernance.com after certification by the Company’s inspector of elections. The meeting is available via webcast on Dow’s website.
