The pink PopBuckets are available for purchase online, as well.

Scott Fischer, CEO of Dippin’ Dots and Doc Popcorn, has personal ties to the disease. His mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when he was 16-years-old. After standing by her side in the fight, she successfully beat the disease in 1999, but sadly after celebrating her 10-year anniversary of being cancer-free, it returned. Today, Mrs. Fischer counts herself as one of the more than 3.1 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. Thanks to organizations like Susan G. Komen, the family felt more prepared to beat the cancer when it returned. Fischer continues to help others who have been impacted by breast cancer because of the community and support they had during his mother’s battle.

“I’m passionate about continuing to aid Susan G. Komen because they provide community, support and education to the one in eight women who will be affected by breast cancer during their lifetime. It’s a privilege for Doc Popcorn and Dippin’ Dots to donate for a second year,” said Fischer. “This organization enables people to fight the same battle my mother championed, and if we can help empower at least one other woman to fight the battle, it’s a success.”

As sister brands, Dippin’ Dots, the nation’s original beaded ice cream franchise, and Doc Popcorn, the world’s largest popcorn franchise retailer, offer co-branded franchise opportunities, sharing the same store, counter, register and employees.
