Houston, TX -- Three OB facilities, St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wis., Maternal Fetal Medicine of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers, Fla., and The ODC in Beaumont, Texas have employed Digisonics solutions in order to gain significant workflow efficiencies and improve accuracy and overall report turnaround times.
St. Mary’s Hospital and Maternal Fetal Medicine of Southwest Florida both installed additional OBLink interfaces to connect their Philips ultrasound machines to the Digisonics Structured Reporting System. OBLink will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly from the ultrasound machine into the clinical report in the Digisonics Structured Reporting System. Both facilities will dramatically reduce manual data entry time and eliminate the possibility of human input error by employing the OBLink interface.
The ODC is a newly opened facility in Beaumont, Texas and the region’s only locally owned, full-service, outpatient diagnostic center. The ODC’s mission is to provide the most advanced diagnostic imaging services and they chose the Digisonics Structured Reporting Solution, OB-Windows, to meet that commitment. The Digisonics system will provide users at the facility with an integrated clinical database for OB and MFM ultrasound studies, fetal growth analysis, and the ability to quickly generate a concise and professional report summarizing their findings.
