Mr. McMorrow was selected from nominations by a panel of independent judges. According to Ernst & Young, the awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. The award was announced at a special 20th anniversary gala event on June 23, 2006, at the Westin Bellevue.

McMorrow, a Vietnam veteran, founded Diagnostic Ultrasound in 1984 with the vision to fill unmet needs in healthcare -- specifically by developing noninvasive, easy to use ultrasound medical devices.
