Expo Web -- Columbus, OH, officials have released plans for a new, publicly financed, $160 million hotel to be built across from the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Business leaders and organizers say the new 500-room, full-service hotel would prevent the city from being overlooked by trade shows and conventions for lack of hotel space and allow the city to compete for 92 percent of the events it would like to host.
