The talk, entitled “Data for Good: Data Science at Columbia,” will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Marriott Marquis Washington DC.
Wing will address how the recent convergence of big data, cloud computing, and novel machine learning algorithms and statistical methods are causing an explosive interest in data science and its applicability to all fields.
