NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clinical Data, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDA) today announced results for its second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2008, delivering another quarter of solid financial performance. Total revenue for the second quarter rose 22% to $8.8 million from $7.2 million for the same period a year ago, when excluding the impact associated with certain Cogenics Icoria grant funded research projects of $1.8 million which concluded in December 2007. Revenue for the six months ended September 30, 2008 increased $5.2 million, or 41%, to $18.0 million, compared to the same period a year ago, excluding the impact associated with grant funded research projects of $2.9 million in this period.
