An 8-year-old girl in China is the country’s youngest lung cancer patient and pollution is to blame, according to a state media report. The unidentified girl from China’s Jiangsu province lives near a busy road and was exposed to high levels of particles and dust throughout her entire young life, doctors from Jiangsu Cancer Hospital told Xinhua.
