SPRINGFIELD, Pa., Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Children’s Dental Health proudly unveiled its new and expansive Springfield location at 130 S. State Road, Suite 300, after years of serving patients at its Drexel Hill location. The new Springfield office began seeing patients on December 17, 2018, providing them with access to a full range of pediatric dental services, prevention and treatment options, and education.
Children’s Dental Health celebrated the grand opening of this new, state-of-the art pediatric dental office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, January 12, 2019. The celebration included entertainment for kids, facility tours, Q&A with dental experts, and light refreshments. Pennsylvania State Senator Tim Kearney, State Representative Jennifer O’Mara, and members of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce showed their support by attending the event.
“We are excited about the opportunity to continue meeting the pediatric dental needs of the Delaware County community in this stunning new facility,” said Dr. Malay Mathur, D.D.S, one of the many pediatric dentists that will see patients at the Springfield office. “We will continue to uphold the commitment to our patients and provide a comfortable, spacious, and child-friendly atmosphere.”
In this new space, patients can expect an enjoyable experience in a setting designed for children that includes:
- A fun kid’s corner featuring movies, iPads, books, toys, and a chalkboard wall.
- Individualized treatment plans and customized appointments for younger children and those with special needs.
- Pre-appointment office tours for new patients and their families to ease their minds and have the opportunity to meet with dental staff to discuss any concerns.
Children’s Dental Health continues to stress the importance of establishing a dental home for children by their first birthday or by the appearance of their first tooth for preventive and affordable treatment options.
Early childhood tooth decay is now the most common chronic early childhood disease in the United States - five times more common than asthma according to a recent study shared by the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to being highly prevalent, tooth decay often goes untreated for children ages three and under.
Children’s Dental Health welcomes patients with most forms of insurance, including Medicaid and CHIP programs. You can schedule a tour or request an appointment online today by visiting ChildrensDentalHealth.com or calling 1-(866) KIDS-DENTAL.
