The 2020 ULSS will be live streamed November 9-11 and will feature local and nationally-recognized business leaders, government officials and subject matter experts, offering insightful plenary sessions and content-rich tracks covering a range of timely and important topics. The agenda has something for everyone, including how the life sciences industry is addressing COVID-19, industry and investor outlook, workforce considerations, diversity and the always popular regulatory track. The online programming will also include an important announcement on a Salt Lake City innovation center as well as a special awards presentation on November 11.
“Although we won’t be together in person, Utah’s life sciences community is unified in its vision to continue to innovate, collaborate and build a world-class bioscience hub,” said Brandi Simpson, chair of the BioUtah board of directors. “Our focus, even during this time of uncertainty, is to advance healthcare and make a difference in patients’ lives.”
“This passion and drive to improve lives is evident in the more than 45 companies in the state that are fighting COVID-19 by developing medical technologies, diagnostics, therapies and delivering on personal protection equipment,” said Kelvyn Cullimore, president and CEO of BioUtah. “Our virtual conference will look at our industry from both a pandemic and post-pandemic landscape.”
The conference promises the same inspirational and valuable experience as in the past - just in a virtual setting.
