Hannover, Germany. The BioServices Marketplace is one of four new marketplace-style displays at BIOTECHNICA 2013. It is a central gathering point where representatives of pharmaceuticals and biotech companies can meet up with a broad international cross-section of drug development service providers, make new contacts and lay the groundwork for promising new business relationships. The BioServices Marketplace also comprises a special display for providers and developers of services and solutions for the biopharmaceuticals industry, plus a forum for company lectures on current biopharmaceutical-sector issues and trends, such as biomarkers in clinical development, new types of antibodies, modern genome analysis and cooperative manufacturing models.
There will also be a daily “Speed Dating” session for streamlined networking between representatives of biotech and pharmaceuticals companies and providers of services and solutions from the commercial and academic sectors. This is an important offering, because networking and partnership are crucial to new drug research and development in the biotech and pharmaceuticals sector.
