INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- BioStorage Technologies, Inc. (BST), announces the appointment of Dr. Wolfgang Hoffer as Managing Director of the company’s European operations in Griesheim, Germany. Hoffer joins BST with nearly 20 years of management experience in the fields of clinical pharmacology and toxicology. In his new role, Hoffer will report directly to James M. Saponaro, Chief Operating Officer for BST, and will manage all aspects of BST’s Europe Division, including sales and marketing, operations and finance.
Dr. Hoffer has previously held positions with MOMENTUM Pharma Services, MDS Pharma Services, PAREXEL(R) International, The Boston Consulting Group and Solvay Pharma. Most recently, he was site director of MOMENTUM Pharma Services’ Hamburg, Germany, location, following its spinout from MDS Pharma Services.

Dr. Hoffer holds a doctorate in physiological chemistry from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (Germany), and is a certified veterinarian in the German state of Bavaria. Dr. Hoffer began his educational career studying chemistry and biology at the University of Kaiserslautern (Germany).
