(NASDAQ: BSMD) (“BioSphere”), a medical device company that has pioneered the use of bioengineered microspheres to treat uterine fibroids, hypervascularized tumors, and vascular malformations by a minimally invasive, image-guided medical procedure called embolotherapy, today announced that Willard (Bill) W. Hennemann, Ph.D. has been named to the newly created position of Vice President, New Product and Business Development. Dr. Hennemann brings more than 20 years of worldwide experience in the research, development, and marketing of interventional vascular medical devices. He will report to Richard Faleschini, BioSphere’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
