Campaign members include AAI Development Services, Astralis, Covance, The Medicines Company and Schering-Plough Research Institute.

“BioSpace’s new Hotbed Campaign for New Jersey communicates the importance, size and strength of the life science industry in the Garden State. By bringing the region online within BioSpace.com, the state gains the unique opportunity to promote itself daily to our global audience of 1 million unique monthly visitors, including job seekers, investors and other life science professionals,” said Chris Amato, President and CEO of BioSpace.

The campaign includes the BioGarden Hotbed Map - a promotional image of the state that displays the logos and buildings of participating organizations (www.biospace.com/biogardenmap). The map is printed on many different types of collateral and is further enhanced through the integration of functional components including a BioGarden Hotbed Homepage (biogarden.biospace.com) on BioSpace.com.

BioGarden™ joins 7 other BioSpace Hotbed Campaigns including Genetown™ (Boston/Cambridge), Biotech Beach™ (San Diego), Bio NC™ (North Carolina) and others. The original Biotech Bay™ map for the San Francisco Bay Area (circa. 1985) hangs on permanent display in the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History.
