An experimental breast cancer treatment that could one day eliminate the need for conventional radiation therapy for some patients cleared a regulatory hurdle Tuesday.The Eastern Virginia Health Systems Agency board gave its support for the Cancer Centers of Virginia to buy equipment that would allow Sentara Care Plex Hospital in Hampton to take part in an international breast cancer clinical trial.
