Rexam to buy Owens-Illinois Plastics for $1.8 Billion; Targets Fast-Growing Market for Packaging Medicines

LONDON/NEW YORK, June 11 (Reuters) - Britain's Rexam Plc agreed to buy the plastic packaging business of Owens-Illinois Inc. for $1.83 billion in cash as it targets the fast-growing market for packaging medicines.
