CARLSBAD, Calif., June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GenVault Corporation today announces Paul J. Mirabella, Chairman and CEO of Naviscan PET Systems Inc., has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Mirabella has more than 30 years of experience in diagnostic imaging with GE Healthcare where he held leadership roles in technology, marketing and global business management. Drawing on this substantial background in diagnostics and the healthcare market, he will help guide GenVault's entry into new biosample management markets as well as streamline operational efficiencies.

Mr. Mirabella's previous experience includes leadership roles at GE Healthcare in ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance, and sales and services. Mr. Mirabella holds four patents in CT and has participated in a variety of successful global product launches. Prior to joining Naviscan, he was President and CEO of Global Diagnostic Imaging, while retaining responsibility for the commercial leadership of sales, marketing and services in the Americas. Mr. Mirabella obtained degrees in aerospace engineering and applied mechanics from Polytechnic Institute of New York and a Masters in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a graduate of the GE Business Management Program accredited by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Mr. Mirabella is also on the Board of Directors for the Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds in Milwaukee, the RSNA Research and Education Board, AMIRSYs, Inc., served on the Wisconsin Governor's Economic Council, and an owner/director of several private companies in Wisconsin.
