In 21 locations on the nursing floors and at off-site facilities, Hendricks Regional Health has installed OmniRx(R) medication dispensing cabinets with built-in security and safety features that help nurses manage patient medications, including Touch & Go(TM) biometric identification for improved security and increased user efficiency, guiding lights that direct users to the drawer and bin where the medication is located, OmniDispenser(TM) single-dose dispensing modules, and SafetyStock(TM) bar code scanning to confirm the identity of medications for restock and selected issues from and returns to the OmniRx cabinets.
