BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthPartners today outlined the prescription drug benefits that will be available beginning Jan. 1, 2006 under Part D of the new Medicare legislation. HealthPartners is approved to offer Part D through three Medicare medical plans. The Part D drug plans range from one with zero premium and deductibles to one with added benefits including coverage in the gap known as the ‘donut hole’. The medical plans may also include travel benefits, health club membership, medical equipment such as wheel chairs and walkers, preventive dental care and eyeglasses.
All of HealthPartners Medicare prescription drug plans are offered with HealthPartners medical plans. HealthPartners does not offer any stand-alone Medicare drug plans.
