HOUSTON, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthlink Incorporated, a Houston-based, provider focused, privately held, healthcare information systems consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Dana Sellers as President of the company. Mrs. Sellers will also continue as COO, an appointment she received last year. In addition to managing the company’s operations, Mrs. Sellers has responsibility for business development as well as many of the administrative services of the company. Mrs. Sellers has a track record of more than 24 years’ experience in the healthcare and information technology industries. She is a member of the Foundation Board of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) with a corresponding position on the CHIME Board. Since joining Healthlink in 1992, she has held several positions including account manager, interim CIO at key client accounts, operations and business development positions, executive vice president managing the Healthlink implementation team, and most recently COO. Her experience previous to Healthlink includes positions with the IBM Corporation, Trinity Computing Systems, and DuPont. She has also held executive leadership positions in information systems, marketing, sales, operations, and strategic planning. Mrs. Sellers is also active in healthcare in her community and is currently Chairman of the Board of Healthcare for the Homeless-Houston.
