Edge Dynamics CEO John McGrory To Deliver Keynote Address At TRAX 2005 And Speak At Two Other Leading Pharmaceutical Industry Conferences In June

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Edge Dynamics, the leading provider of enterprise software for Commerce Optimization, today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer John McGrory has been selected to speak at three leading pharmaceutical-focused conferences during the month of June, validating Edge Dynamics’ growing thought leadership in that industry. Currently managing more than $40 billion in annual revenue streams for leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, Edge Dynamics continues to see strong demand for the Edge 2.0 Commerce Optimization software, which optimizes a manufacturer’s incoming order stream in order to maximize financial performance and enforce operations compliance.

Media and industry analysts are invited to hear McGrory deliver the keynote state-of-the-industry address, titled “Evolution of the Pharma Distribution Channel: Past, Present, and Future,” on June 7, 2005, at 9:00 AM at TRAX 2005 -- The Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Summit. The conference, which focuses on helping companies understand how to implement processes to increase the security and efficiency of the drug supply chain, takes place June 6-8 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. At 9:45 AM on June 16, McGrory will address the “Keys to Collaborative and Profitable Channel Relationships” at the Health Distribution Management Association (HDMA) 2005 Distribution Management Conference and Expo at the Caribe Royale All-Suites in Orlando, Florida. In his presentation, McGrory will explain how to develop collaborative and profitable relationships by establishing clear goals and objectives between partners, and why additional collaboration between partners represents a positive step toward a more profitable future that enables improved financial performance and compliance throughout the pharmaceutical channel. Later in June, media and industry analysts are invited to hear McGrory in a stand-alone session at the Center for Business Intelligence (CBI) Commercial Contract and Chargeback Management conference, which will be held June 23-24, 2005, at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue in Philadelphia. McGrory’s presentation, the “Keys to Profitable Channel Relationships & Commerce Optimization,” is scheduled for 5:00 PM on June 23. McGrory will discuss how channel dynamics are rapidly evolving as new, more-targeted products, greater regulatory interest, and threats to the public trust and safety (such as counterfeit drugs) emerge and how technology can address such issues. By implementing a Commerce Optimization technology with sophisticated channel scorecarding and real-time order-stream processing, inventory management and fee-for-service agreements can be turned into tools for profitability that optimize the channel relationship, improving chargeback management and performance.
