SAN DIEGO, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bridgetech Holdings International, Inc. , a company focused on maximizing the potential of emerging healthcare products and services in China and the U.S., today announced that they have brought on board a seasoned executive team to spearhead their efforts in China. This team will be based out of Bridgetech’s Hong Kong office and will oversee all Asia Pacific activities.

Joseph Liu, PhD, MBA has been selected to fill the position of President of Asia Pacific. Dr. Liu most recently served as a Senior Manager for the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, where he led the strategic development and implementation of the Biotechnology/Life Sciences Program. Prior to that Dr. Liu served as a Sales and Marketing Manager for China Concord Limited and as a Business Unit Manager for Mekim Limited. Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. in Radiological Health Sciences from Colorado State University. Dr. Liu also served as a fellow in the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine.
Ms. Carrie Yuen has selected to act as both a Strategist and Head of Regulatory Affairs. Negotiating the complex regulatory and governmental environments is key to Bridgetech’s success. Ms. Yuen most recently served as China Corporate Planner and Strategist for A.S. Watson Group, a subsidiary of Hutchinson Whampoa Limited. Ms. Yuen was also a partner at Price Waterhouse, where she provided tax, regulatory and business advisory services to clients. Ms. Yuen has 20 years’ experience doing business in China and relationships with regulatory and governmental officials at the Central, Provincial and Local levels.
