LOUIS, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Amerinet announced that they have extended their partnership with the Medical Group Management Association, which has offered significant expense reduction for physician practices that are members of Amerinet, one of the nation’s most innovative group purchasing organizations.
Amerinet holds the distinction of being an MGMA AdminiServe Partner. The select list of AdminiServe suppliers offers added value to MGMA members by providing access to comprehensive resources designed specifically for physician group practices. These supplier partners are selected based on their relevance to MGMA’s specific membership.

Amerinet has grown its Amerinet/MGMA membership participation to nearly 800 physician group practices that participate and utilize Amerinet contracts. In 2005, Amerinet/MGMA member contract purchases totaled $224 million with reported savings totaling $33 million, primarily in diagnostic imaging, laboratory, medical and surgical, pharmacy and office supplies.

The contract renewal went into effect in October 2005 and will continue for a period of 48 months.
