Ultrasonix Medical Corporation Appoints Nakhleh The New CFO
BURNABY, British Columbia, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultrasonix Medical Corporation, a company dedicated to providing "Smart Ultrasound for better patient care," announces appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer Mr. Issa Nakhleh. Nakhleh brings more than two decades of senior financial and executive experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer for Ultrasonix. As a key member of Ultrasonix's executive team, Nakhleh will oversee corporate finance and help raise equity to support the company's high growth profile along with John Buhler, President and CEO.
Most recently, Nakhleh was Chief Strategic Officer for TIR Systems Ltd , a lighting systems manufacturer. In this capacity, Nakhleh provided strategic guidance to the Board and senior management team, building on his five years as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Nakhleh's success as CFO at TIR Systems is highlighted through his raising of more than $50 million in equity and debt financing and contributing to revenue growth from $4 million to more than $30 million in four years.
Prior to TIR Systems, Nakhleh was CFO for Teraglobal Communications, a NASDAQ-listed software company based in San Diego, California. Under his tenure, Teraglobal raised more than $20 million in financing and moved from a NASDAQ OTC listing to a full NASDAQ listing.
Nakhleh spent numerous years in Europe as a successful management consultant before moving back to North America in the late 90s. He holds an MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School and is a Certified General Accountant in British Columbia.
