Talecris Biotherapeutics, a leading provider of plasma-based therapeutic proteins, is hosting an open house at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clayton, N.C., for state, local, and community officials. Recently recognized as one of “Five Companies to Watch” by the Triangle Business Journal, Talecris was launched in April 2005, inheriting a legacy of more than 60 years of providing lifesaving and life-enhancing plasma-derived therapeutic proteins from Bayer Biological Products’ plasma division.
