Smiths Medical, Inc. Wins Participation In Multi-Million Dollar Contract For Disposable Anesthesia Product
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Smiths Medical, part of the global engineering business Smiths Group, announced today it has been awarded participation in a multi-million dollar agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners group purchasing organization (GPO). This three-year contract, effective August 1st of 2006 through July 31st of 2009, represents Premier's renewed commitment to purchase from Smiths Medical's Disposable Anesthesia product portfolio. This award positions Smiths Medical as a full line provider of disposable anesthesia products for the approximately 1500 acute care facilities that encompass this GPO's membership.
