Select Biosciences Release: Informatics for Automation

Sudbury, UK (1st March 2012) – Select Biosciences, organisers of European Lab Automation (ELA) 2012, is pleased to announce that Informatics for Automation will form one of the new conference streams contributing to the ELA conference and exhibition at the Conference Center Hamburg, Germany from 30th-31st May. As automation is becoming increasingly essential in many medium to high-throughput set-ups, understanding informatics and how it can provide efficient and streamlined automated workflows is incredibly important.

This conference stream will provide delegates with an overview of informatics in automation and will include topics such as cloud computing, real-time data analysis, laboratory information management systems and supply chain logistics. With participation from some of the industry’s leading experts in this field including: Allan Ferguson Senior Director Lab Operations and Automation, Merck; John Leonard, Principal Scientist in Global Pharmaceutical Development, Astrazeneca and Bernd Göde of the University of Rostock, this stream will be an exciting and informative new addition to the ELA conference.
