Philips Healthcare Lands Military Contract Worth $27 Milllion

Philips Healthcare wins a $27.3 million military contract to provide the Army with maintenance for biomedical devices. Philips Healthcare (NYSE:PHG) won a $27.3 million contract to provide biomedical device maintenance and support services to the U.S. military. Philips was the only bidder for the deal, which was awarded this week and should be completed by September 2013. Philips is slated to provide support at U.S. Air Force and Army treatment facilities, including bases in Ohio, Texas, Mississippi, Nevada, California, Maryland, Louisiana and Oklahoma, according to a report.
