Counsyl Appoints Distinguished Medical And Scientific Industry Veterans To Board
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Counsyl, a DNA testing and genetic counseling service, today announced that Scott Hayworth, MD, and Jack Goldstein, PhD, have joined the Counsyl Board of Directors.
Dr. Scott Hayworth trained as an OB-GYN and is currently President and CEO of CareMount Medical, P.C. (formerly Mount Kisco Medical Group, P.C.). In his 18 years as President and CEO, Scott has transformed the medical group from 40 physicians and 3 locations to 550 physicians and 41 locations. He has served major leadership roles including Chairman of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) and the National Executive Board of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He is currently on the board of a number of private equity-backed companies, a Senior Advisor at Arsenal Capital, and an Associate Dean at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
