Surgical tools maker Ceterix Orthopaedics raises a $19.5 million funding round. Ceterix Orthopaedics landed $19.5 million from 5 investers, according to a regulatory filing. The Menlo Park, Calif-based surgical tools maker said it plans to raise an additional $1.10 million, Medcity News reported. Ceterix is developing a suturing device designed to help surgeons stitch difficult anatomies while avoiding surrounding tissue, cartilage or adjacent nerves, according to its website.
