Alfa Scientific announced today that David K. Anderson joined the company as its new Vice President of Sales on June 15, 2009.
With over twenty years of diverse experience in the areas of clinical diagnostics and medical devices, and a BA in Marketing, Dave brings a new driving force to Alfa’s sales team that will help us to attain rapid growth in the industry over the next few years.
From 2000 thru 2007 Dave held a key position at the highly successful lateral flow manufacturer ACON Laboratories, Inc. located in San Diego, CA as their Vice President of Sales and General Manager. As one of ACON’s first employees, he was instrumental in launching their highly successful drugs of abuse division and recruiting some of its key talent, substantially contributing to their presence in the industry. Over the years, Mr. Anderson has also worked for Syva (Dade Behring), Germaine Laboratories, Inc., WHPM, and American Bio Medica, Inc. to name just a few.
Alfa is excited to have someone with Dave’s background join us to head up our sales team. Over the next few months Alfa will be launching some key new products such as our new Oral-View™ Saliva Multi-Drug Test Device, and new additional Waived-Complexity drug analyte tests, as well as some other key products that are currently in development such as Strep A, Ketamine, and EDDP test devices. With our ever expanding product line and new team members, Alfa is poised to be a leader in the in-vitro diagnostic industry.
