San Clemente Times -- A proposed new restaurant on the 200 block of Avenida Del Mar passed a major hurdle Tuesday night when the San Clemente City Council voted to approve a conditional use permit and cultural heritage permit. The approvals for Nick’s San Clemente at 213 Avenida Del Mar allow the project to move forward to plan check; construction could begin in as soon as three months.
