LADY LAKE, Fla., Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) has approved the Medical Office Management Degree (AOS) Program offered by WellSpring School of Allied Health to be included in the Academic Credentialing Program (ACP). The ACP requires a minimum of seven (7) of the Nine Domains of Medical Practice Administration be taught by the educational institution as part of their medical management program. Approved programs gain valuable benefits including certification eligibility, membership, discounts on industry resource materials, and access to professional networking.

WellSpring School of Allied Health is about optimal wellness. WellSpring Healthcare Programs are specifically designed to facilitate participation by working adults and offer skills training and certification to become a qualified medical professional. The Medical Office Management Degree (AOS) Program combines Advanced Medical Assisting and Clinical Office Management training to prepare graduates to be fully competent Medical Assistants and also able to deliver higher level skills for effective medical business operation. Graduates of the WellSpring Clinical Office Management AOS Program are eligible and fully prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Manager - Academic (CMM-A) through PAHCOM.

The PAHCOM Academic Credentialing Program (ACP) is modeled after historically successful programs in the accounting, legal, and medical professions wherein specific educational curricula are mastered and the student is then able to add specific professional recognition to the academic recognition received from the educational institution.

The Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) was established in January 1988 to provide a support network to the managers of small group and solo provider healthcare practices. The role of the medical manager is a vital element in efficient and profitable practice management.
