Volcano Corporation Announces Filing of Universal Shelf Registration Statement

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Volcano Corporation announced today that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). If and when declared effective by the SEC, Volcano Corporation may, from time to time, offer and sell under the universal shelf registration statement up to an aggregate of $200 million of common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and/or warrants to purchase any of such securities, either individually or in units, in one or more offerings. The terms of any such future offering will be established at the time of the offering.
