Company Appoints Healthcare Industry Veteran Stacy Boetto to Lead Patient Care and Coordination

WOODRIDGE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Virtis Health, a leading alternate site of care company offering treatment, clinical management and administration of specialty infusion and injectable medications in an ambulatory infusion center (AIC) setting, announced today the opening of its first Chicagoland site.

Staffed with licensed infusion-specialist nurse practitioners capable of assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing general and chronic illnesses, Virtis Health’s AIC offers a range of therapy management services. These include, among others, immunoglobulin treatments for primary immunodeficiencies and autoimmune disorders, anti-infective therapies and specialty biologic medications for treating rare and ultra-rare diseases.

The new Virtis Health AIC is located at 10210 Werch Drive, Suite 203 in Woodridge, Ill., 60517, conveniently and centrally located just minutes off Veterans Memorial Tollway (Interstate 355) as well as the Stevenson Expressway (Interstate 55).

Concurrent with the opening of Virtis Health-Chicago, the Company appointed Stacey Boetto, FNP-C and NRCME, to the post of nurse practitioner. Boetto, a nursing veteran, brings more than 25 years of related experience to her new role. During her extensive career, Boetto founded Faire Health, where she served as a full-practice authority nurse practitioner at various locations throughout Illinois, conducting chronic disease monitoring and acute disease evaluation and managing the administration of a range of treatments.

In her new role, Boetto oversees the Virtis Health AIC, managing all patient needs, including administering intravenous and injectable medications and monitoring patient status, both during and after treatment. Boetto also coordinates patient needs by scheduling appointments and managing care with other providers, relevant community resources and other healthcare team members.
