CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ViaCell, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIAC) today announced its consolidated financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2007. Total revenues were $14.5 million for the first quarter of 2007 compared to $12.1 million for the same period in 2006. Sales of ViaCord®, ViaCell’s product for the preservation of umbilical cord blood, generated revenues of $14.4 million in the first quarter of 2007, a 20% increase over the $11.9 million of revenues for the same period in 2006.
