The U.K.'s NHS Supply Chain orders 20 TrueBeam radiosurgery systems from Varian Medical Systems, doubling last year’s order. The British NHS Supply Chain bought 20 of Varian Medical Systems’ (NYSE:VAR) TrueBeam devices as part of a planned upgrade of radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems in the nation’s hospitals. The U.K. health service bought 10 Varian devices last year and is now expanding the upgrade program for the nation’s standard cancer treatments.
