(the “Company”) announced today it has postponed the announcement of 2007 second quarter earnings results for the Company and its operating subsidiary, US Oncology, Inc., until August 14, 2007. The earnings announcement, which was scheduled for August 8, 2007, is being postponed to allow the Company time to further assess the impact of the national coverage decision issued on July 30, 2007 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding use of erythropoieisis stimulating agents by oncologists.
The related conference call and webcast, which also had been scheduled for August 8, 2007, will now be held on August 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. ET following the distribution of the news release. In this call, representatives of US Oncology’s management team will discuss the financial results.
