US And UK At Bottom Of The List For Child Well-Being

February 14, 2007 -- Unicef released its Innocenti Report Card 7 on Child Poverty with an overview of child well-being in 21 rich countries. It is called “a comprehensive assessment of the lives and well-being of children and adolescents in the economically advanced nations.” Twenty-one countries were ranked on six key areas of child well-being. The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Spain head the list with the best performance. The worst performers? The United States and the United Kingdom. More details...
