Two New Members Join Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA)'s Board Of Directors

WASHINGTON, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors.

W. Bradford Gary, vice president, Government Operations, for Allergan Inc., in Irvine, CA, rejoins MDMA's Board, having previously served from 1996 to 2002. Casey McGlynn, a partner and chairman, Life Sciences Group, at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, in Palo Alto, CA, also was elected to the Board.

Early in his career, Mr. Gary served on the staff of former U.S. Rep. Les Aspin (D-WI; 1971-1993). He also served as U.S. Senate staff. In government service, Mr. Gary was a professional staff member specializing in national security matters. Prior to his appointment with Allergan in 1991, he was a senior executive with 3M Company, Anheuser-Busch Companies, Baxter International, and the Warner-Lambert Company. Mr. Gary graduated from George Washington University and was a Congressional Fellow in the university's Political Science Department. He did additional graduate work at George Washington and at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. McGlynn joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1978 and is a member of the firm's Policy Committee. Mr. McGlynn's practice focuses on the organization, funding, and corporate representation of companies in the information technology, life sciences, and telecommunications industries. He is a nationally recognized leader in the representation of start-up and growth technology companies. He received both his JD and BA degrees with highest honors from Santa Clara University. He was recognized in the 2005 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers and was selected for inclusion in the 2006 edition of Best Lawyers in America.
