--(BUSINESS WIRE)--More than 200 leaders from the region’s Life Sciences Industry (including health care organizations, pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, venture capitalists, higher education and research institutions) will meet on Wednesday, October 17 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Michael Nutter, democratic mayoral candidate, will discuss the role the life sciences industry plays in the region. The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau will also divulge results of a new report on the impact of life sciences-related meetings in the region.
