ROCKFORD, Ill. (January 23, 2012) – Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, today introduced the Thermo Scientific HiPPR Detergent Removal Resin for the efficient cleanup of protein and peptide solutions. The resin helps avoid interference in downstream analysis such as ELISAs, isoelectric focusing and mass spectrometry.
The High Protein or Peptide Recover (HiPPR) Detergent Removal Resin works especially well with low concentration protein solutions in the range of 15 to 100 micrograms per milliliter. The high-performance resin removes up to 95 percent of ionic, nonionic and zwitterionic detergents at concentrations of 0.5 to 1 percent.
The HiPPR Detergent Removal Resin is supplied in bulk, spin-column and 96-well filter plate formats that can accommodate 25 to 200 microliter sample volumes. The resin is easy to use, with the batch incubation format completed in less than 15 minutes.
